SKYSPAN GSLHB Skylight Hatch is used to give access to roof top areas and is often used to overcome height restrictions on buildings. Mostly seated above a staircase leading to a roof, the glazing then doubles as a glass roof when closed. Electric actuators make the operation effortless.

Maintenance & Repair
Skylights should be inspected at least once per year and any build up of leaves and rubbish be removed from around the skylight. Depending on the severity of the problem, this may be needed to be performed more often. The Skyspan skylight is normally cleaned by the elements. At least once per year, wipe over with soap and water and a nonabrasive sponge. Avoid using solvents and thinners. Dust and wipe over to ensure that any build up or caked dust is removed which could prematurely cause corrosion. Repeat as often as needed for each individual location.Basic Stock Sizes

Designed to insulate from the outside temperature and reduce noise penetration. The lid has a double zincalume steel skin for extra rigidity which incorporates an inner core of insulation foam.
As the premium Skyspan hatch, the MHH is a heavy duty construction designed for larger openings. To insulate from the outside temps and reduce noise penetration, the MHH incorporates the same insulated double skin lid as the MHD and a reinforced double skin frame for extra strength.
